We Will Build A "Trinity" Zero-carbon Industrial Acceleration Development Model

Under the national “dual carbon” strategy and the background of Chinas intelligent manufacturing, we advocate “full-chain, full-solution, full-process” technological innovation, product innovation, service innovation, financial innovation, and industrial innovation. We aim to build a new economic acceleration development model of “platform + fund + base” in a trinity, create a win-win ecosystem for enterprises, provide guarantees for the construction of zero-carbon industries, and promote the clustered development of zero-carbon industries.

Case 1: Joint Innovation Base For Third-generation Semiconductor Materials And Applications

China Electronics Technology Group Corporation Limited, a key state-owned backbone enterprise, is the main force in military electronics, the national team in the cyber information industry, and a strategic national scientific and technological force. The company possesses a relatively complete innovation system in the field of electronic information, holding a dominant technological position in areas such as electronic equipment, cyber information systems, industrial foundations, and cybersecurity. It shoulders the important responsibilities of supporting technological self-reliance and strength, advancing the modernization of national defense, accelerating the development of the digital economy, and serving social and peoples livelihood.

In 2015, Beijing Municipal Commission of Science and Technology, Shunyi District Government, and the National Semiconductor Lighting Engineering R&D and Industry Alliance jointly established the base. By 2017, Beijing had designated it as one of the three trillion-yuan industries targeting 2030. The Ministry of Science and Technology officially recognized it as a Mass Innovation Space, while the National Development and Reform Commission designated it as a National Mass Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base. In 2021, it was formally awarded the title of National Third-Generation Semiconductor Technology Innovation Center.

In 2015, Digital Light co-invested in Beijing Guolian Wanzhong Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. In 2023, the company was merged into Hebei Zhongci Electronics Co., Ltd. and went public.

Base construction platform company

Beijing Guolian Wanzhong Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd.: Established in March 2015, the company is a mixed-ownership enterprise controlled by China Electronics Technology Group Corporations 13th Research Institute. It focuses on the research, development, and production of third-generation semiconductor chips and devices such as gallium nitride (GaN) and silicon carbide (SiC), covering the entire industrial chain from design, packaging, to testing. Its products are applied in fields such as 5G communication, new energy vehicles, and smart grids.

Light Environment Design Research Center: Established jointly by China Architectural Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as: China Institute) and Digital Light Smart Technology Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as: Digital Light), the China Institute Light Environment Design Research Center provides professional light environment design services for architectural, interior, and landscape specialties within the institute.

Case 3: Promoting Intelligent Construction And Building Steel Structure Prefabricated Building Industry Chain

We Jointly Established The Maanshan Intelligent Construction Industry Association To Build A 100-billion-yuan Industrial Chain For Steel Structure Prefabricated Buildings.

In 2024, Digital Light, China Seventeenth Metallurgical Group, MCC Huatian, and Maanshan Iron and Steel Construction Group jointly initiated the establishment of the Maanshan Intelligent Construction Industry Association, aiming to build a trillion-yuan industrial chain for steel structure prefabricated buildings. They also formed the Maanshan Intelligent Construction Industry Research Institute to promote the development of steel structure prefabricated buildings and modular construction industries. Focusing on improving the quality and efficiency of green and intelligent construction in Maanshan City and building a “four modernizations” industrial system for the construction industry, the initiative drives innovation in high-end industrial chains and the construction of industrial bases for steel structure prefabricated buildings, modular steel structures, prefabricated interior decoration, smart buildings, and green low-carbon buildings, thereby promoting the high-quality development of Maanshans construction industry.

China Seventeenth Metallurgical Group Co., Ltd. Profile: Established in 1957, the company is a subsidiary controlled by China Metallurgical Science and Industry Co., Ltd. After the integration of China Minmetals and China Metallurgical Group, it became a key backbone subsidiary of China Minmetals, ranking among the top tier of China Metallurgical Group and the “top three” in Anhui Provinces construction industry. Its main businesses include EPC engineering general contracting, equipment manufacturing and steel structure production, and real estate development.

We will accelerate the development of the smart construction industry

We will increase the application of intelligent construction in all aspects of engineering construction, and form an integrated industrial system of intelligent construction covering the whole industrial chain, including scientific research, design, production and processing, construction and assembly, and operation.

Establish and improve digital buildings in subsectors such as smart homes, smart buildings, smart communities, and smart cities, and promote the continuous development of five emerging industries, including new urban construction, smart city infrastructure, smart operation and maintenance, smart building, and smart building.

Case 4: Jointly launched the Wanhua Eco-City Renewal Fund to establish a customized industrial internet platform for green industrial interior decoration, enabling the production of fully furnished products akin to automobile manufacturing, while collaborating on R&D solutions for formaldehyde-free hotels and formaldehyde-free home decoration.

As the worlds largest operator of green home furnishing ecosystems, Wanhua Ecology Group upholds its vision of “No formaldehyde under the roof” and adheres to the philosophy that “green mountains and clear waters are as valuable as gold and silver.” The company has established 17 green home furnishing industrial clusters across China, with 13 already operational in Jingzhou, Jingmen (Hubei), Tongling, Huaiyuan (Anhui), Xinyang, Lankao, Pingyu (Henan), Shaoguan (Guangdong), Anren (Hunan), Yantai, Qixia, Yangxin, and Heze (Shandong). Case 5: Promoting Belt and Road urban industrial chain cooperation Promote the Belt and Road industrial strategic cooperation between Egypts well-known enterprise Elsewedy and local cities

Elsewedy is a renowned Egyptian industrial conglomerate and one of the countrys largest private sector exporters. With a 70-year history, the company operates across multiple sectors including wire and cable manufacturing, electrical products and solutions, utility and infrastructure projects, industrial production, and infrastructure development.

In October 2025, mutual visits between both sides led to multiple collaborations. Wu Chuanyan, Chairman of Digital Light Group, signed a framework cooperation agreement with Ahmed Elsewedy, Chairman of Elsewedys Board of Directors. Digital Light will promote the strategic cooperation between Egypts renowned enterprise Elsewedy and local cities in the Belt and Road industry, jointly building the Egypt Elsewedy-China Industrial Park. Digital Light will fully leverage its technical advantages in healthy light environments, optoelectronic AIOT, smart energy, prefabricated buildings, and integrated housing to collaborate with Elsewedy in expanding markets, serving the rapid and high-quality development of cities, real estate, and construction in Egypt, Africa, and the Middle East.
